ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to respondents 4 is dispensed with.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2025 requesting to cancel the patta No.526 issued to the 4th respondent in respect of S.No.51/1 measuring an extent of 0-21.00 hectares and issue patta to the legal heirs of late Venkatrama Nayudu in respect of S.No.48/1 measuring an extent of 6.37 acres in the name of legal heirs of late Venkatrama Nayudu situated at Goddukaranpatti Village, Mittapalli Post, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the 2/5

petitioner filed a representation on 05.03.2025 seeking to cancel the patta. However, the said representation has not been considered so far by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents that the acknowledgement card for the representation dated 05.03.2025 has not been filed by the petitioner. He would further submit that if the petitioner submits a fresh representation, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

5. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is given liberty to file a fresh representation. In the event, any such representation is submitted, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, including rival claimants, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance 3/5

with law.
