Heard Mr.M.Suriya Muthu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.05.2019, summon has been issued to him for enquiry, inspite of receiving the summon, the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police, hence the complaint has been closed by the respondent police on 18.10.2019.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
