The captioned writ petition has been filed seeking a declaration that passing the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) is not required for appointment to the post of B.T. Assistant Teachers in the case of the petitioners, and to direct the respondents to declare the probation of the petitioners, along with all service benefits, including annual increments and other attendant benefits.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, as well as the learned counsel for the petitioners, fairly submitted that the petitioners have already been granted all the benefits sought in the present writ petition. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has also produced a communication dated 30.01.2024, issued by the fifth respondent/School Education Department vide proceedings in R.C. No.63080/C3/S2/2017, and the same is extracted hereunder:

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and communication dated 30.01.2024 issued by the 5th respondent, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
