Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation for settling the Terminal Benefits and release the Pensionary Benefits. For petitioner :

This writ petition has been filed by S.Pappanna, seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representations dated 03.11.2014.
2. Heard Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.
3. The petitioner was working as Firka Surveyor in the Department of Land Survey and Records, Krishnagiri and he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
retired from service on 30.6.2014, after attaining the age of superannuation. The grievance of the petitioner is that, after his retirement, till date the respondents have not taken any action to settle the terminal benefits and to release the pension, for which the petitioner has also sent a representation dated 03.11.2014. However, till date the same has not been considered by the respondents.

This Court, without going into the merits of the writ petition, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the pending representation dated 03.11.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, keeping in mind that the petitioner has retired from service as early as on 30.6.2014, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
