This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner on the complaint given by one Varatharaj.

2. From the records produced by the learned Government Advocate, this Court finds that the civil dispute is pending between the brother and sister. Pursuant to that, O.S.No.600 of 2022 is pending on the file of the Sub Court, Tiruppur for partition. The respondent police, who has received the compliant of Varatharaj in Current Paper No. 380 dated 27.06.2023, has called both the parties and after ascertaining that it is a civil dispute and the parties were advised to work out their remedy before the Civil Court and the current papers was closed on 27.09.2023.
3. In view of the above fact, the apprehension of the petitioner is that the police trying to force the petitioner to settle the civil dispute is illfounded. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is disposed of with the direction to workout their remedy before the Civil Court. 05.10.2023 Index : Yes/No mac/rpl 2/4
