Aggrieved by the acquittal of the respondents for the offences punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, the petitioner has filed the present petitions seeking leave to file the above two appeals.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the complaint was dismissed due to the absence of the representative of the petitioner for one hearing and that if the complaint is not adjudicated on merits, the petitioner would be put to irreparable loss and hardship.

3. This court finds force in the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and hence inclined to grant leave. Accordingly, leave granted.

4.The Registry is directed to number the appeals and post for admission, if it is otherwise in order.
