This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned letter dated 13.12.2016 issued by Garrison Engineer, Chairman Works Committee/the first respondent respondent herein wherein it is stated

that the petitioner was rejected due to dispute of date of birth. T.RAJA,J.

vga 2.When the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the election to the post of Works Committee Members has been postponed indefinitely. He would further submit that an enquiry has also been contemplated to find out the correctness of the date of birth of the petitioner and subject to the result of the enquiry, decision will be taken. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
