ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 06.02.2025, acknowledged under CSR.No.62/2025, and proceed in accordance with law by initiating appropriate steps based on the materials and allegations disclosed therein.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was induced to transfer a sum of Rs.1,02,600/- to impersonators claiming to be representatives of MGM Beach Resort using a fraudulent website and deceptive communication. In this regard the petitioner had also lodged a complaint before the first respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that though his complaint has been registered in CSR.No.62 of 2025 no action has been taken so far. Hence, the present petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that enquiry is pending in CSR.No.62 of 2025 and they will complete the investigation expeditiously.
4. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed with a direction to the first respondent to complete investigation and file final report expeditiously.
