JUDGMENT

This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying this Court to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.11849 of 2021 dated 25.08.2022.

2. The Contempt Petitioner had filed Writ Petitions in W.P.Nos.11849 & 20057 of 2021 challenging the impugned order dated 05.02.2021 passed by the 1st respondent confirming the order of the 3rd respondent granting patta in favour of the 4th respondent in respect of the land comprised in S.F.No.153/6. This Court vide its order dated 25.08.2022 allowed the above Writ Petitions by quashing the impugned order dated 05.02.2021 passed by the 1st respondent and granted liberty to the 4th respondent to make fresh application seeking issuance of patta if he succeeds in the Appeal Suit No.10 of 2022 which is pending consideration before the Lower Appellate Court.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents on instructions would submit that Writ Appeals were preferred in W.A.Nos.1918 & 1862/2023 as against the order passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.11849 & 20057 of 2021. However, subsequent to the disposal of the Writ Appeals, the revenue records relating to the subject property were mutated and to that effect, a compliance report dated 31.10.2023 has been filed before this Court.

4. Recording the said statement as to compliance, this contempt petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 03.11.2023 Index : Yes / No NHS
