Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondent in his Notice in Goods Detention No. GD No. 3731/2016-17 dated 02.12.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondent to release the goods. Pursuant to the last hearing held on 19.12.2016, I am informed by the counsel for the petitioner that the vehicle along with subject goods, i.e., plastic granules, was released, upon payment of tax amounting to Rs.1,16,323/-. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner says that insofar as the imposition of tax and the levy of compounding fee is concerned, the same would be challenged by filing a revision petition. 3.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to file a revision petition, within ten (10) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

It will be open to the petitioner to raise all grounds, which are articulated in the present writ petition. 4.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Connected W.M.P. No. 37300 of 2016 is closed.
