By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in her favour in respect of the property with an extent of 799 sq.feet comprised in Survey No.70, T.S.No.4, Block No.11 situated at Pillaiyar Koil Street, Madura Maduvinkarai, Velacherry, Chennai, by considering her representation dated 15.07.2024.

It is the case of the petitioner that she purchased the above mentioned property from one B.Jai Prabakar under a registered Sale Deed dated 06.06.2012 and thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 15.07.2024 seeking issuance of patta in her name and the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that if proper online application submitted by the petitioner, the same will be considered by the respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the petitioner to file an online application seeking issuance of patta, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The respondent is directed to consider such online application and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such online application.
6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
