Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to pass orders on the representation dated 30.08.2024 revoking the suspension order in Ref. No A1 / 280 / 2024 dated 03.02.2024 within a period to be stipualted by this court by reinstate the petitioner into the service with all consequential benefits. This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 30.08.2024, wherein, the petitioner has requested for revoking the order of suspension passed on 03.02.2024.
2.Heard Ms.Kanimozhi Sundar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mrs.V.Yamuna Devi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3.The petitioner was appointed as a Village Administrator Officer in the year 2014. An FIR came to be registered in Crime No.02 of 2024 by DVAC, Cuddalore. The 2/4
petitioner was arrayed as an accused and the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. The same resulted in an order of suspension passed by the 4th respondent through proceedings dated 03.02.2024. 4.The grievance of the petitioner is that the order of suspension continues without the same being reviewed and in spite of the representation made by the petitioner in this regard. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 4th respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 30.08.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
