ORDER

When this Contempt Petition was taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondent has paid the retiral benefits to the petitioner and accordingly, complied with the order of this Court dated 21.07.2016 passed in W.P.No. 25443 of 2016. 2.Conceding the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the retiral benefits have been settled belatedly and hence, the petitioner may be permitted to make a representation to the respondents seeking interest for the delayed period.

3. Recording the above, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is directed to submit a representation seeking interest for the delayed period of retiral benefits, within a period of two weeks from the date of 2/3

receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
