O R D E R

1.Issue notice. Mr.C.Jagadish, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The limited direction that the petitioner seeks is that the representation dated 22.09.2016, filed by it be considered by the first respondent.

2.1 The petitioner claims, that, its proposal for grant of mining lease for patta land ad measuring 74.81.0 hectares, situated at Periyathirukonam, Reddipalayam and Edayathangudi Villages in Ariyalur Taluk and District, is pending consideration by the respondents.

2.2 It is in this context, that, the petitioner seeks the aforesaid direction.

3.Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the representation as expeditiously as possible, though, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4.Resultantly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
