J U D G M E N T

This Original Petition has been filed under Sections 3, 7 to 10 of Guardian and Wards Act, 1890, read with Order XXI Rules 2 and 3 of the Madras High Court Original Side Rules, 1956, to appoint the First Petitioner D. Prabhu Ram as guardian of the person of the minor V. Haripriya.

2. Since the minor child V.Haripriya, who was born on 26.08.2000, has now attained the age of majority, the Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners has made an endorsement that this Original Petition has become infructuous and he is not pressing the same.

3. Hence, the Original Petition is dismissed as not pressed. No Costs. 10.10.2018 rts Note:

1. Issue order copy on 12.10.2018.

2. Registry is directed to return the original documents filed by the Petitioner to the Counsel for the

Petitioner by 31.10.2018 under written acknowledgement after substituting the same with certified copy thereof, to be obtained and produced by the Counsel for the Petitioner.
