ORDER

This Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 01.03.2024 made by the petitioner to delete his name in the list of History / Rowdies Sheet No. 28/ 2021, maintained in the respondent No.3 Police Station and decide the same in accordance with law within a reasonable time as may be fixed by the Hon'ble Court.

2. According to the petitioner, on 20.02.2024, the third respondent had stated that an action would be taken against the petitioner under Section 110 of Cr.P.C., since the petitioner's name is found in the History / Rowdies Sheet maintained by the third respondent. He further stated that three cases have been pending against the petitioner. But according to the petitioner, no case has been registered against him for the last four years and he is not an habitual offender. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

3. In such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2024 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
