PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents Police 1 to 4 to provide police protection to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 06.09.2023.

ORDER
This Court finds no merits in this petition seeking for police protection. The Writ Petition is filed with misconceived notion, the petitioner has given a representation dated 06.09.2023, through post alleging that in respect of two cents of land where a Civil Suit is already pending, his neighbour Periyasamy and others are trying to interfere his peace and tranquility and they have also through police tried to prevent the marriage of his son Vijay fixed on 17.09.2023.
2. Today when the matter came up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the marriage of his son was solemnized as scheduled. However, the threat to grab his land by the rival group is still subsist.
3. The learned Government Advocate on perusing the CD file submitted that on the receipt of the complaint through Court, the parties were summoned for their appearance, but they have not turned for enquiry. He added that if the petitioner appear before the Station House Officer and produce all the materials Page No.3/6
to support his complaint, the same will be considered on merits.
4. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner herein to appear before the Station House Officer on Thursday the 12th of October, 2023 and participate in the enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, proper action has to be taken out by the respondent police. No costs.
