This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned provisional selection list dated 23.08.2024 and for a consequential direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to select the petitioner to the post of Graduate Teacher/Block Resource Teacher Educators (BRTE) under the SCA-W-T quota.
2.Heard Mr.K.Sakthivel, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.M.Alagu Goutham, learned Standing Counsel appearing on 2/6
behalf of the 1st respondent and Mrs.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 2nd respondent. 3.The 1st and 2nd respondents have considered the appointment of the 3rd respondent based on the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.15168 of 2024, dated 24.06.2024. For proper appreciation, Paragraph No.10 of the order is extracted hereunder:
10. In view thereof, the Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:- (i) The petitioner is directed to report before the respondents on 03.07.2024 along with the original certificates. Upon such reporting, the respondents are entitled to fix a date for certificate verification of the petitioner, depending on their convenience;
(ii) The petitioner shall be treated as validly applied for the post of BT Assistant in Tamil under the category of SC (Arunthathiyar) and accordingly her community certificate can be verified and if she comes within the zone of consideration, 3/6
while preparing the select list, her name also be included in the SC (Arunthathiyar) category, on merits and in accordance with law.
(iii) No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
4.In the light of the above positive directions issued by this Court, there is no ground to interfere with the appointment of the 3rd respondent. The ground raised by the petitioner is unsustainable and accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
