This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, The Nilgiris to dispose of the private complaint filed in C.C.No.51 of 2010 pending before him.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a private complaint filed by the petitioner against the respondents for the offences under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. But so far there is no progress in the case.

3. It is seen from the daily status of the e-court that the case has been repeatedly posted for evidence and the evidence has been closed on 29.09.2022. Thereafter, the case has been posted for arguments on 14.10.2022. Since the case has reached the arguments stage, I feel it is appropriate to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, the Nilgiris to dispose of the case within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order without making any further delay.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
