The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to transfer the patta in his name and in the names of his brother and sisters jointly for the above agricultural lands to an extent of 0.06.50 hectares comprised in Survey No.53/6 vide Patta No.541 situated in Vadamalampatti Village, Pochampalli Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

According to the petitioner, his father Palaniappan had purchased an extent of 0.06.50 Hectares of agricultural lands in Survey No.53/6 in Vadamalampatti Village, Pochampalli Taluk by sale deed dated 26.11.1964 and the Revenue authorities assigned patta in his favour vide Patta No.541. Since both his parents died, the petitioner, his brother and two sisters inherited the said property and took possession of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the same. On 21.09.2015, the petitioner submitted an application to the respondent to delete the name of his father in Patta No.541 of Vadamalampatti Village and issue Patta jointly in his name and in the name of his brother and sisters with all necessary documents. He also sent further representations to the respondent on 21.09.2015 and 29.11.2016 seeking issuance of patta.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has paid necessary charges and required fee to the respondent for change of patta, till date, the respondent has not considered his representation. Hence, having no other alternative, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.
Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
