Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 24.06.2025 in Memo No.68/BCDFGISSSV/2025 against the petitioner's son, namely Kavinraj, Male, aged 22 years, S/o. Karunanithi, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) Mr.S.Senthilvel, learned counsel on record for petitioner and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents are before us.

2. Learned counsel on both sides submit that the impugned preventive detention order has since been revoked (Advisory Board) vide proceedings dated 11.08.2025 bearing reference G.O.Rt.No.4906, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department and also produced a copy of the same.

3. In the light of the above submission, nothing survives in the above habeas corpus petition.

4. Accordingly, recording the above said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
