Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner including the petitioner's name, namely, 'Chandra, wife of late Ramasamy' as the Legal Heir of deceased Ramasamy along with his other legal heirs Senthil Kumar and Lingarasu (minor) with in a time frame.

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner including the petitioner's name, namely, 'Chandra, wife of late Ramasamy' as the Legal Heir of deceased Ramasamy along with his other legal heirs Senthil Kumar and Lingarasu (minor).

2.Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the appeal is pending before the SubCollector, *Mettur Dam Taluk, Mettur Dam, Salem District and it is posted for an enquiry.

3.Recording the statement made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of. The Sub-Collector, *Mettur Dam Taluk, Mettur Dam, Salem District, is directed to dispose of the appeal, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
