The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing first respondent to consider his representation dated 05.09.2023, wherein and whereby he requested the first respondent to transfer the patta comprised in S.No.307/5, 307/7 & 308/1 of Koulpalayam Village, Thuraimangalam, Majira, Perambalur Taluk and District to the name of the petitioner in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 05.09.2023 to the first respondent seeking transfer of patta to a property in S.No.307/5, 307/7 & 308/1 of Koulpalayam Village, Thuraimangalam, Majira, Perambalur Taluk and District in his favour, but the same has not been considered by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. Page No.2/4

4. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 05.09.2023 seeking to transfer the patta in his favour, however, the petitioner without giving sufficient time to the authority concerned to process the same, approached this Court by filing writ petition on 22.09.2023.

5. The petitioner has rushed to this Court in a hurry after giving a representation on 05.09.2023 and the writ petition was filed on 22.09.2023. Therefore, without even waiting for the first respondent to act, even for exercising his power, the petitioner has rushed to this Court.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
