The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.08.2023 registered for the offence under Sections 6(b), 24(1) of Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Act, r/w Section 328 of IPC in Crime No.166 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. 2.It is stated that the petitioner was found in possession of 2.5 kgs of Maava and selling the same near colleges.

3.It is stated by the respondent that there are 12 previous cases pending against the petitioner.

4.The earlier application for bail filed by the petitioner had been dismissed as withdrawn.
