Respondents Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to implement the orders of the first respondent dated 18.6.2014 by removing the encroachment in S.No.122/8 of Narasingapuram village, Attur Taluk and to construct compound wall or provide fencing for the burial ground. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The grievance of the petitioner for removal of the encroachers in pursuance to the orders passed by the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Attur as far back as 18.6.2014 has remained unaddressed in respect of the burial ground in Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk.

2. There had been proceedings earlier also, but to no avail.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader states that there are 40 encroachers at site, but only 20 are eligible for rehabilitation and alternative sites have been located. It is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

thus submitted that one month time may be given to shift the eligible encroachers to rehabilitate them at another site and one month beyond that may be given to remove all the encroachers from the site.

4. The aforesaid statement is taken on record on behalf of the respondents and the respondents will remain bound by the same.

5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
