This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to act upon the representation submitted by the petitioner on 11.07.2025, wherein, the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in his name.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered Sale Deed dated 10.06.1987 registered as document No.3091/1987. The petitioner submitted a representation on 11.07.2025 seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. In the considered view of this Court, if the petitioner is seeking for patta, the petitioner has to necessarily make an online application to the 2nd respondent along with all the relevant documents and particulars and on receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall act upon the application and take a decision on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of 2/4
receipt of the online application from the petitioner. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
