This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 151 days in representing this Criminal Appeal against the Judgment dated 08.10.2020 in C.C.No.77 of 2019 by the learned Special Judge, I Additional Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Chennai.
2. Heard both side counsel and perused the affidavit filed in support of the petition.
3. Though the Appellant/Accused is in Central Prison, Puzhal undergoing the Sentence, the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the petition is not satisfied. However, in order to give opportunity to the first Accused in the case to file the Appeal, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. In the result, the condone delay petition is ordered.
