O R D E R

Based on the petition filed under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., the respondent police registered a complaint and caused summons to the petitioners herein under Section 41A Cr.P.C. Instead of attending the enquiry. After receiving the summons, the petitioners have come before this Court seeking direction not to harass them.

2. This petition does not indicate any material that the petitioners were harassed by the respondent police. Therefore, there is no reason to grant the relief sought.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits that if the petitioners appeared before the Investigating Officer and cooperate with the investigation, there is no necessity for any coercive measure.

4. In view of the above fact, the petitioners are hereby directed to appear before the respondent police on 07.10.2023 at 10.30 a.m., and 2/4

cooperate with the investigation. On their appearance, the Investigating Officer shall make appropriate enquiry and proceed with the investigation.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
