O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents to furnish information and documents sought in his request/ application dated 4th October, 2016 (RTI Act), to him, expeditiously.

2. During the course of argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if a direction https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is given by this Court to the respondents, to consider and pass orders on his application dated 04.10.2016, pending before the first respondent, expeditiously, within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

3. Mr. P.V. Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that if the application of the petitioner dated 04.10.2016 is pending before the respondents, the same would be considered on merits.

4. Considering the above submission of the learned counsel for the parties, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 04.10.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
