By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that punja land in S.No.217/4 admeasuring to an extent of 33 cents in Pannambattiur Village, Kalasapakkam, Polur Taluk, belong to his father viz., P.Manickam and it was acquired by the first respondent for the purpose of providing house sites to the Adi Dravidar people in the year 1987. The petitioner would further state that a sum of Rs.14,850/- was paid as compensation and a promise was also given for providing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

employment under priority category in terms of G.O.Ms.No.188, Personal and Administrative Department, dated 28.12.1976. The petitioner would state that he is a B.E. Graduate, and in terms of the said Government Order, this case falls under priority category and as such, he is eligible to get employment and in this regard, has also submitted a representation dated 19.11.2016 to respondents 2 and 3 and in spite of receipt of acknowledgment, it has not been given disposal and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.D.S.Rajasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Rabusekvan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
