ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed praying to suspend the sentence imposed in judgment by the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Ranipet, Ranipet District in Spl.SC.No.40 of 2024 dated 28.07.2025 and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the above appeal.

The petitioner, who is an accused in Spl.SC.No.40 of 2024, was convicted and sentenced by the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Ranipet, Ranipet District, vide judgment dated 28.07.2025, as follows:

Rank of the accused Conviction under Section Sentence awarded A2 Section 17 r/w 8 of POCSO Act to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of four years and to pay fine of Rs.1,000/-, in default to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three months 3.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused, all the materials placed before this Court.

On perusal of records, it is revealed that the appellant along 2/4

with another accused committed very serious and heinous offence against a minor victim girl . Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
