O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.1339 of 2017 on the file of the 1st Respondent / Police and quash the same.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.1339 of 2017 and also filed a charge sheet in C.C.No.9261 of 2017 before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

3.Per Contra, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the 1st respondent police has not completed the investigation in a counter complaint lodged by the petitioners in C.S.R.No.964 of 2017.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances and also submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. 5.This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous accordingly. Liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge the final report if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
