O R D E R
(delivered by K.K. SASIDHARAN,J.) This writ petition is filed by the applicants in O.A.No.258 of 2016 to direct the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench to take up the Original Application as expeditiously as possible and pass orders.
2. When the writ petition was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent on instructions submitted that the Central Administrative Tribunal has already fixed the date for disposal of the Original Application. According to him, the matter is coming up on 10.01.2017 for final disposal.
3. Since the Tribunal has already posted the matter on 10.01.2017 for final disposal, there is no need for a particular direction to be issued for disposal of the matter. We hope that the Central Administrative Tribunal would hear the matter on 10.01.2017 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.
4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
