O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for issuance of writ of certiorari to quash the impugned order of the 1st respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3851/2007/MD2, dated 04.11.2016.

2. According to the petitioner, he was granted plumbing licence by the 1st respondent on 13.05.2015, but without affording any opportunity the said license was cancelled by an order dated 04.11.2016. The main grievance of the petitioner is that the order was passed without following the principles of natural justice.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the licence period expired even in the year 2016 itself, and hence nothing survives in the writ petition.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

5. It is not in dispute that the licence granted in favour of the petitioner expired in the year 2016 itself. In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
