Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent for appointing person or a team to take suitable action against all the officials and elected representatives of the Perur Chettipalayam Panchayat regarding the grant of licences to the buildings built in unauthorised layouts and sites in the said Panchayat Perur Chettipalayam Panchayat from 2006 to 2015 and in the grant of providing infrastructure facilities to those unauthorised layouts causing loss to the said panchayat's funds and to recover the loss by all the legal means from persons involved in the illegal activities. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) On hearing the petitioner in person, it appears that the statutory notice issued under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 in April, 2015 did not result in any culmination, but certain proceedings were held and now the Panchayat stands dissolved. His grievance is that whatever the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

loss caused to the Panchayat must be recovered from the concerned persons, for which those proceedings have to be concluded.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that some time may be given to conclude the proceedings. He further submits that three months' time would be sufficient for the said purpose. We take the aforesaid statement on record and thus, the final order will be passed within the said period of time.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
