PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the entire records in C.C.No.32 of 2017 now pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate II, Salem and Quash the same.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the final report filed against the petitioner for the offence u/s.294(b), 323 & 324 IPC.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners belonged to a political party and they have attacked the defacto complainant with a deadly weapon for destroying the banners kept in their area and besides he had also abused the complainant with unparliamentary words and criminally intimidated him. Hence the complaint.

3.Mr.R.Kishore Kumar, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the respondent police have already https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

completed the investigation in this matter and the records have been sent to the trial Court for conducting trial. 4.In view of the above statement so made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court is inclined to dismiss this petition to see to its logical end.

5.In the result, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. The trial Court is hereby directed to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
