This petition is filed to condone the delay of 298 days in filing the above CMA against the Judgment and decree dated 22-06-2022 in MCOP.No.318/2013 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, I Additional District and Sessions Court, Vellore.

2.Mr.S.Arunkumar, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent.

3.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.124481 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.

4.In the eventuality of the petitioner succeeding in the appeal, interest may have to be reckoned only from the date on which the Registry takes the appeal on record.
