The learned Government has produced the letter dated 22.12.2016 addressed by the third respondent to him stating that orders have been passed rejecting the request of the petitioner for patta name transfer and therefore, nothing survives in the Writ Petition for adjudication.

2. In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed and accordingly, dismissed. No costs. However, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order.
