Heard Mr.S.Nedunchezian, learned counsel for Ms.A.Lakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing, in view of the limited prayer. 3.The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition praying to direct the 3rd respondent to furnish the document mentioned/required in the representation of the petitioner dated 04.08.2016.
4.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representation 04.08.2016 to furnish the document mentioned in respect of the Chennai Vanniyakulu Kshatriya Maha Sangam is registered at North Madras District Registrar Office on 14.08.1890 under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860 (Central Act No.21 of 1860). The Registration is No.12/1890-91. The High Court approved the Scheme for functioning the said Maha Sangam by an order dated 09.04.1974 in C.S.No.100 0f 1970. On 09.06.2015 the petitioner applied for the 3rd respondent to grant copy of Registration of Maha Sangam, Bye-Laws, Form-VI, Form-VII and other documents in respect of Cennai Vanniyakula Kshatriya Maha Sangam bearing registration No.12/1890-91 registered on the file of 3rd respondent office on 14.08.1890 with enclosed Rs.100/- nonjudicial stamp for issuing registration certificate. Inspite of several reminders no action was taken by the respondents. The said representation is still pending, therefore the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader submitted that if the said representation dated 04.08.2016 made by the petitioner is in order, the same would be considered by the respondents, in accordance with law.
6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.08.2016, if it is otherwise in order, in accordance with law, by giving a reasonable opportunity to the parties concerned and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.The Writ Petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
