DATED: 11.06.2025

THE HONOURABLE MR.K.R.SHRIRAM, CHIEF JUSTICE AND THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE SUNDER MOHAN in REV.APLW No.SR 121988 of 2024 Shareefa Associates Rep. by its Sole Proprietor, M.Salsala, Registered Office at No.11, Citizen Avenue, Mahaveer Nagar, Lawspet, Puducherry.
Petitioner(s) Vs The Zonal Manager, Indian Bank, Lawspet, Puducherry and 2 Others Respondent(s) For Petitioner(s):
Mr. V.Ajayakumar For Respondent(s):
Mrs.S.R.Sumathy For R1 and R2
ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Mrs.S.R.Sumathy takes notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
2. The reason for the delay has been explained in paragraph (3) of the affidavit-in-support filed by one Salsala and affirmed on 3.9.2024.
3. Shri Ajayakumar states that petitioner had calculated the delay to be only 65 days, whereas, according to the Registry, it was 71 days' delay and, hence, there is a difference in the number of days mentioned in the affidavit-in-support and in the application for condonation. To buttress this point, he also states that in the application also it was written as 65 days, whereas it was corrected to 71 days on the basis of what the Registry calculated. The Registry's calculation is also endorsed by hand in page (40) of the typed-set.
4. Therefore, keeping open the rights and contentions of respondents to challenge the review application itself, we condone the delay.
Application is disposed of accordingly.
