ORDER
Both side counsel are present along with their respective parties and they have jointly submitted that the matter is amicably settled out before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court and Settlement Agreement, dated 09.01.2026 has also been entered between the parties to that effect. The Mediation Centre has sent its report along with the Settlement Agreement entered between the parties before this Court for appropriate orders.
2. It is also represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that Cross objection has been filed in the main appeal in A.S. No.542 of 2019 along with the petition in CMP No.20231 of 2025 seeking to condone delay of 1971 days in filing the Cross objection in the main appeal.
3. There is no objections on the side of the respondent in allowing the aforesaid petition.
4. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and no objection on the side of the respondent, this Court is inclined to allow the aforesaid petition.
5. Registry is directed to number the Cross objection if it is otherwise in order and post the matter on 30.01.2026 for recording the mediation report along with Settlement of agreement entered between the parties.
