The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation/enquiry.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent Police are unnecessarily harassing the petitioner. 3.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the de facto complainant, an enquiry has been conducted and that the petitioner was called only for an enquiry and was not harassed by the respondent. However, now the complaint has been closed, hence, the presence of the petitioner is not required for further enquiry.
