ORDER
This Writ Petition have been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 17.10.2022 by measuring and demarcating the petitioner's land in Extent 0.9.00 acre in S.No.60/7A4 and S.No.60/7A3 Panaiyur Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
2.The case of the petitioner is that in the year 1995, the petitioner's family entered into a oral partition for their family properties in which the petitioner was entitled to the property in Old S.No.60/7 New Survey No.60/7A1 measuring an extent of 0.9.00 acre and Patta No.2748 was also issued by the 2nd respondent. Thereafter, the petitioner gave an application dated 17.10.2022 to measure an demarcate the above said property, to enable the petitioner to identify the property as per the Page No.2 of 5
Revenue Records. However, till date, petitioner's representation was not considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2022 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. 4.Mr.U.Bharanidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that if any direction is given by this Court, the same will be complied with.
5.In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
