O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the order of

reversion and cancellation of selection grade dated 15.05.2006 passed by the second respondent. The impugned order was passed solely on the ground that the petitioner was involved in a criminal case. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendancy of the writ petition, the petitioner filed Crl.O.P.No.3038 of 2014 seeking to quash the criminal proceedings and this Court vide order dated 29.01.2015 quashed the criminal proceedings. Hence, the petitioner may be granted liberty to make a representation to Authorities concerned explaining the present position for appropriate relief.

3.In view of the above, though this Court uphold the impugned order passed by the second respondent, in view of the quashment of the criminal proceedings, is of the opinion that there is no impediment to consider the claim of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the concerned Authority for appropriate relief within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the concerned Authority is directed to pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
