Present revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the O.P.No.4866 of 2014, pending on the file of the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai within a time frame.

2. Considering the nature of order to be passed in the revision, which will in no way cause any prejudice to the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife.

The petitioner filed the original petition for dissolution of the marriage. According to the petitioner, the original petition is of the year 2014 and that the trial is unnecessarily being prolonged and hence the petitioner has filed the present revision seeking an early disposal of the original petition within a time frame.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer made in the revision, the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai is directed to dispose of the petition in O.P.No.4866 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to both the parties, within a period of six months from the date https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of receipt of a copy of this order. The revision is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
