Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein to give intimation to the 1st respondent to defreeze the petitioner's Account No.10131004230, and also directing the 1st respondent to defreeze the said account forthwith and allow the petitioner to continue banking operations. 1/6

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to give intimation to the 1st respondent to defreeze the petitioner's Account No.10131004230, and also directing the 1st respondent to defreeze the said account forthwith and allow the petitioner to continue banking operations.

2. Since no adverse order has been passed against the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner made a representation dated 22.08.2024 through e-mail to de-freeze his bank account before the second respondent. However, the same was not considered. Hence the present writ petition.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons if any within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions and observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
