Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent/District Registrar, Tindivanam and 4th respondent/Sub-Registrar, Avarapakkam, Tindivanam to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2016 to cancel the forged registered sale deed dated 19.03.2015 registered as Document No.993/2015 on the file of the Sub Registrar Avarapakkam/4th respondent.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for a direction to the 3rd respondent/District Registrar, Tindivanam and 4th respondent/Sub-Registrar, Avarapakkam, Tindivanam to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2016 seeking to cancel the forged registered sale deed dated 19.03.2015 registered as Document No.993/2015 on the file of the Sub Registrar Avarapakkam/4th respondent is still pending.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said representation has been pending before the third respondent and no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. In the light of the above submission made by the both parties, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2016 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned. The petitioner is directed to submit a copy of the representation dated 23.11.2016 along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
