Petition for bail for the alleged offence under Section 137(2), 87 BNS and Section 9 of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006 and Section 3(a) r/w 4(1)of POCSO Amendment Act 2019 and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.07.2025.

2. The petitioner has been implicated in the offence ,based on the complaint given by the father of the minor victim girl alleging that his daughter aged 17 studying II year in Engineering College had gone missing from 24.06.2025 at night hours. The girl been rescued in the custody of the petitioner herein.

3. The statement of the victim girl recorded by the learned Judicial Magistrate indicates that the petitioner has kidnapped the minor girl and had sexual intercourse with her, on promise that he will marry her. Medical report is also substantiate the complaint. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition for bail stands dismissed.
