Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 26.09.2023 seeking to release the petitioners eligible benefits by giving an opportunity of hearing within a stipulated time.

O R D E R
The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2023 seeking to release the petitioner's eligible benefits by giving an opportunity of hearing within a stipulated time.".
2. The petitioner joined the respondent service in the year 1986 as Subordinate Staff. In the year 2004 the petitioner was working as Sub Staff in the Adyar Branch and he raised several issues against the then Assistant General Manager with regard to irregular expenditures. 2/6
The petitioner was targeted by the respondent Bank which culminated in his dismissal from service in the year 2005.
3. From the year 2006 his legal battle started before the Tribunal and then before this Court, which ended in his favour by order dated 25.03.2022 in WA.No.116 & 117 of 2016 with a direction to the respondent Bank to pay all the attendant benefits as ordered by the Tribunal in award dated 30.04.2012 in ID.No.90 of 2006. The petitioner retired from the services in the year 2017.

The petitioner made a representation dated 26.09.2023 seeking to release his LFC Block of once in four years viz., 2004 - 2008 or 2006 - 2008, 2008 to 2012, 2012 to 2016 and from the year 2016 till his retirement in the year 2017, the excessive amount of Rs.72,931/- and Rs.50,000/- from his two housing loan accounts, the Mutual Welfare Scheme as he is eligible to get the medical benefits under the said scheme and the leave encashment for 14 days. Since there is no response the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 3/6
5. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.
6. Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2023 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a personal hearing to the petitioner.
7. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
