O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District to complete the trial in C.C.No.49 of 2017 within the time frame.

2.Heard Mr.A.Suresh Sakthi Murugan, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mrs.P.Kritika kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. Taking into account, the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the charge sheet was taken on file in the year 2017, there is no much progress in the proceedings and also taking into account, the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) that there are 7 witnesses to be examined.

4. In view of the submissions of both counsels, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District to complete the trial in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

C.C.No.49 of 2017, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
